Sydney Actor Headshots

Written by on | Sydney Acting Resources

An actor’s headshot is the first point of contact. It’s the first thing any agent, casting director, director, producer, drama school, network will see – so it’s important to get this one right. As tempting as it is to grab a mate who knows how to work a 5D, we always recommend working with a headshot or portrait photographer to get the most out of your shoot.

A great headshot should be relaxed, natural and bring out the best in the actor. It’s imperative that your headshot is up to date (every 4 years), look like you and also showcase different elements of your personality, vibe, aura, energy – whatever you want to call it. There are a lot of actors out there, and you want your headshot to make a memorable impression.
